Today is Tuesday and we had a google meet at 10:55am (the usual early time) but I joined at 11:15am because I slept in. By the time I joined, Whaea Sam (Breakout Tahi-1 teacher) had her screen presented and was asking some students a question and the question was "kei te pehea koe?" In English, she was asking "how are you?" and we had to say "kei te (feeling in Maori ) ahau." For example, when she asked me "kei te pehea koe Tina?" I would reply with "kei te hiamoe ahau" and hiamoe means sleepy in Maori. I can't really explain the task I was given but here is my work.
How do you say "how are you?" in your native language?
Kia ora Tina. Ka pai. Did you make this slide? I'd love to know how you made the audio? As for me today... kei te āritarita koe (excited) because I'm about to join a couple of classes for their online meetings.
ReplyDeleteKia ora Phil, I didn't really make the slide I just added in the audio using my own voice. For the audio we used screen castify and uploaded the audio only, for that you click download then audio. Hope that helps.
DeleteKia ora Tina. Thanks for the reply. I thought it might be Screencastify. Maybe you could make a little video to teach others how to do this. I bet other people would love to learn!
