Today is the beginning of Maori language week and today my teachers introduced the class to 6 new blog badges. The badges looked like this:
This blog post is about a pepeha. Today we were split into 3 different google meets for our breakouts to learn. I was in breakout Toru (which means 3 in Maori) and our goal was to make pepeha about our school. We were given permission on how we wanted to present and display our pepeha. I was going to make paper pop-ups but I was in a hurry so I just did one for our Maunga. What I found challenging was trying to say and pronounce the Maori words. What I enjoyed was making a mountain pop up and decorating my slides. Next time I think I might try and make all pop-ups. This is how my pepeha looked and sounded like.
Kia ora Tina, amazing job on your he pepeha matihiko - digital pepeha! I love how you included the pop up mountain and you could definitely add more pop ups you make to your slides. You did a fantastic job on the pronunciation of new words, ka pai!
ReplyDeleteThanks Whaea Ocea, I'll try make some more paper pop ups and add it to my slides soon.
